This allows us to control every aspect of the build process from temperature to cleanliness, eliminating weaknesses to create stronger, more trusted gear. Our pioneering clip has evolved since 2011 to meet dogs’ and their humans’ needs. Forged by anodizing 6061-T6 aluminum, the wide opening and one-handed operation mean seamless, in-line clip-ins for an unbeatable ease of use.
Crux Clip™ | Small and Mighty

Weighing just 20.7g, the Crux™ is our most ultralight hardware. Expect a simple clip-in for easy on/off moments, paired with the confidence of a manual slide lock for more secure connections.
Ruffwear Carabiner | The Titan of Clips

Rock-solid and secure, our Carabiner needs no other name. Our tri-action locking gate paired with the swiveling body, seamlessly connects with our kernmantle climbing inspired rope leashes for a strong, secure connection. Its custom auto-locking hardware takes the guess work out of locked or not and won’t seize up like traditional carabiners, while the smooth nose allows for easy unclipping.
Talon Buckle™ | Strength in Connection

The Top Rope™ Collar pairs with our Talon Buckle™, our strongest collar hardware. This all-metal CNC and forged buckle provides ballast to position the V-ring at the top of the dog’s neck for easy clip-in. The release triggers must both be engaged simultaneously to release the buckle, creating a confidence inspiring connection.
