Provides plenty of leash line for our dog to roam and sniff while on walks.

I actually wear this around my chest like a cross body purse lol. It’s the perfect length for working with my dogs off our property: Short enough for hands free leash-work & long enough that they can have some freedom for sniff-breaks— and I LOVE the hands-free aspect!! The bungee makes the random moments where my dogs pull the leash taught *zero percent* jarring for both me & them. I was very suspicious of the “talon clip” at the end of the leash, but ultimately chose to trust that Ruffwear would only sell reliable, quality products… and I’m glad I did! It’s way easier to use than a carabiner and way more secure than a traditional bolt snap. I love how easy it is to put on & take off my dogs with a single hand, and no spastic Doberman puppy antics have managed to shake it loose or break it (unlike products from other brands I’ve used). I plan on buying one for my fiancé to use and a shorter one just for jogging. I love this leash!

The bungee has more stretch than I had expected. Not too much but it gives a good stretch for safety. The length is nice. Feels like “normal length” when wrapped around my waist, and is a “longer leash” when held by hand.

the adjustable waist and bungee make the leash great for jogging but also can easily be changed in to a normal leash for regular walking.
