The Crag EX™ Leash is an adjustable dog leash that can be used hand-held or hands-free. Fully extend to 6 feet (1.8 m) for relaxed walks or more room while running and hiking, or shorten to 3.5 feet (1 m) when looking to keep your pup close. The metal slider makes it easy to adjust length on the go.

The side-release buckle on the handle is easy to use and reinforced with an aluminum uniloop for exceptional strength, adjusting easily when wearing around the waist. Ruffwear’s unique Talon Clip™ offers a strong and secure connection to your dog.

It includes Ruffwear's signature leash features like a padded handle, an accessory loop for pick-up bags or small attachable leash accessories, and strong webbing that holds its color so it can be your favorite leash for years to come. Integrated reflectivity helps boost visibility for dogs and humans getting out in low-light conditions.

    Puppy love

    Our 4 month old puppy is starting out on her adventures and this leash has been great. The grabbing clasp design is perfect for quick “hook-ups.” The weight is good and she hasn’t tried to chew this one while walking. Like others have mentioned, I wish the design was in both sides and there was one that matched the salmon color better, but the blue works okay with the harness straps. Please offer more matching options. Thanks for your products, Ruffwear!

    Great stylish line!

    I love this line - I have two sets of collars and leashes so far. My 9 month old Golden is still growing and I appreciate the weight and extra sturdiness as she's still in training and she pulls sometimes. I started her with the Front Range line (which is also great), but the clasp on this and the matching leash are a little more heavyweight. PLEASE make more girly options and fun colours (pinks, salmon, orange, cream, magenta, violet etc). The only thing I wish I could change on this would be to have the pattern on both sides of the leash, as it spins around and sometimes you see more of the flat blue side.

    Best Leash

    Like my Crag collar, it’s my second Crag leash and I love it. My favorite feature is the adjustable handle that can be used around my waist for “hands free” wear! Its comfortable and so practical with 2 dogs or enjoying a coffee while I walk on a beautiful fall day. The patterns are so cute!

    Why did I wait?

    I have two pugs and a toddler so walking with all three I can’t wind up in a giant mess of leashes and stroller wheels. This makes walks so much easier and it’s easy to pull the dogs close when a car comes by.

    Versatile leash

    This is our second Craig EX Adjustable Dog Leash. It is very durable and easy to use. We like the adjustability of the leash and the ability to wear it around the waist to have both hands free when hiking with our dog.
