My biggest issue with this is that it's only good if the dog stays ahead of you. You get tangled up quick if they want to go behind/beside you and then change direction. Be prepared to pirouette to keep the leash from wrapping or tripping you.
Outside of that being able to be hands off except when needed for corrections or safety is amazing. Especially on the trails where you may need to use your hands for balance and leaning on or clearing obstructions.
I've had similar many years ago and they ended up hurting me. With the bungee section even if the dog does quick movements the shock is minimal on you.
I love the clipping mechanism. It takes a second to figure out how to work it, but once you master it it's quick and extremely secure.
