A return of our Summit Trex™ Dog Shoes brings changes to improve durability and flexibility without compromising on paw protection. This everyday dog shoe protects paws from slush, ice, salt, and abrasion on walks.  

The weather-resistant polyester ripstop upper keeps moisture and debris out, while the non-marking outsole provides traction and paw protection. Upgrades to the cuff closure means the shoes stay put, and the hook-and-loop cinch closure create a secure fit.

    Who Would Have Guessed…

    Bought the shoes for our dog who tore her ACL and needed a brace. Her toes would bleed when we walked her and we hoped the shoes would solve the issue. I the meantime we noticed she was becoming afraid to walk on our hardwood floors as her bad foot would slide out from under her since she wasn’t putting pressure on it. Suddenly she literally would not walk on the hardwood, serious issue. Scared to death. Not quite a mountain path but I had the thought that the shoes should allow her to get traction. No exaggeration but within 30 seconds of putting the shoes on she was confident again and happy as heck. Crazy amazing. A serious life changer for her. We call her Clippy Cloppy now given the sound she makes walking. But it’s a happy sound!

    Finally dog shoes that work!

    I have a dog that has some neurological problems that affect the balance, coordination, and strength in his legs and we have hard flooring. Even with rugs, he struggles with mobility at times, and I have a drawer full of various dog socks and shoes that I hoped would help. The Summit Trex are perfect! They fit securely, bend in the correct places, and provide unbeatable traction, all without extra bulk that would cause even more tripping. He also wore them outside on a wet day and when he came in, I took the shoes off and his paws were dry! Also, there is a noticeable size difference in his front and back paws, so buying them in packs of two ensures you get a better fit. These shoes have made a noticeable difference in the quality of my pup’s life!
