Ruffwear's apparel features an active, tailored fit that hugs close to your dog's body, designed to move with their natural range of motion. Measurement is determined by your dog’s chest girth, measured around the widest part of the rib cage. Coverage may fit slightly shorter or longer depending on your dog’s proportions. If between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit, or down for a more snug fit.

The lightweight shell fabric has a water-repellant finish to shed light moisture, and the weather-guarded 3/4-length zipper retains core heat. Super-soft, articulated stretch StormSleeves™ are engineered to seal in warmth while maintaining freedom of movement as your dog dashes from powder stash to powder stash. Hem cords at neck and belly cinch to capture warmth and keep cold elements out. Because staying warm shouldn't have to mean staying inside, the Furness offers a new level of canine coziness for winter exploring.

    Great jacket - just didn't work for my dog

    I ordered the size XS for my dog (14lbs, 15" girth) and while the fit was great (not too tight, not too loose), it was way too long for him. I contacted Ruffwear and they said the XXS may be better since it's 3" shorter. The exchange process was very fast and easy. Unfortunately, while the XXS was the perfect length, it was way too tight on my dog and I could tell he was uncomfortable. He has a unique body type and I have been having a hard time finding him a warm jacket. This is a great coat and Ruffwear's customer service is beyond great, it just didn't work out for us.

    Love it!

    I love this jacket! Polly is part French Bulldog. Large through the chest. Small waist. The drawstring make this jacket fit her perfectly!! It has great coverage and warmth.

    LOVE THIS COAT

    Purchased the XL for my 75lb Yellow Labrador Retriever. I recommend sizing up if you are in-between sizes. Make sure the neck and chest fit and don't worry so much about length. You don't want the neck to be too tight.

    Material is somewhat soft and not overly waterproof but on cold days its perfect. If you pup runs through trees you may want a more durable shell

    Love it!

    Recently bought for our 100+ lbs pup for his first winter and it’s been a game changer for long outdoor play days. I feel at ease knowing he’s warm even though he could care less as long as he’s outside. For size reference I got our cane corso a large he’s close to 110lb right now and it fit him great, not too tight.
