I've had one for 3 winters now. The quality is very good. It's useful on its own or layered under a windbreak/water resistant coat. I don't use it to tear through thick brush/woods, obviously, as it's not abrasion resistant, but it's been great otherwise. He's an English shepherd and has grown to a 28" girth. M still fits him perfectly for length (hip just covered which I need for extreme cold). TWO ISSUES: 1) it's tight in the chest even though he fits the M measurement: the fabric pulls down at the back of his neck and restricts the shoulder movement, especially in extended trot, so I will now get the pullover version for him in the same size. Note that I bought mine 3 yrs ago, it is possible that the fleece they use today is stretchier. Ask. 2) because he's a male, I stitched the belly part to make it shorter and tighter to his belly so that it doesn't get wet with pee. Some pee still dribbles on it and it's been impossible to get the smell out completely (even with an enzymatic deodorizer). Hopefully the belly fabric on the pullover version will wash better or will hug him better and avoid the pee altogether.
