Dogs can hold their stride with the Vert™ Jacket no matter what elements are thrown their way. Designed to embrace the wintry-mix that would otherwise mean spending the day inside, the shell fabric is windproof, waterproof, and breathable.

The Vert™ Jacket features extended waterproof coverage over the hips and thighs and recycled, lofted insulation that packs exceptional warmth. Leg loops keep the jacket in place when the winds kick up, and the leash portal allows the Vert™ to be worn over a harness.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Vert is a Relaxed Fit with side-release buckles for easy on/off and extended vest coverage over hips and thighs.

    Soft and Warm

    We’re always outside with our pup, even when it’s really cold. This jacket keeps him so warm and fits him perfectly. The quality is also great. Our dog is constantly trying to crawl under caves or logs and it holds up!

    Great Winter Jacket

    Warm winter jacket, fits well, and the fabric does not collect dog hair. The leg straps are a great idea in theory, but too tight and ride up our girls hind legs. Our 62 lb lab pictured wearing size M.

    Durable Coat & Happy Dog!

    Our Ruffwear jacket is top-notch! We live in the rainy PNW and always find that our pup's jackets don't hold up after a long walk, but this winter coat repels water for days! It's durable, washes off easily, and keeps our little girl nice and warm on cold, rainy days. Yet to be tested in the snow, but I'm sure it will hold up well!
