New Gear for Fall 2020
As we kick off a new season, we’re celebrating the grounding presence dogs have in our lives – how they keep us moving, keep us present, and keep us inspired through life's endless changes.
This season, we’re introducing new human gear for carrying you and your sidekick's everyday essentials. Plus, check out the new designs and looks for our iconic cold weather jackets and boots, all built to keep your pup warm so you can linger longer in the moments that matter – whatever the weather.
Home Trail™ Hip Pack [New Style]
The Home Trail Hip Pack is the day-to-day, stow-and-go bag to carry you and your dog's essentials, keeping your hands free for throwing sticks and doling treats. It has two zippered compartments and an adjustable belt for wearing on the hip or crossbody.
While the comfortable, low-profile design is for the humans, the details are for the dogs. An internal "mess pocket" keeps treats or grimy toys separate from other contents. Pick-up bags stash in an exterior mesh pocket, and there's plenty of room for a leash, small bowl, and other necessities. The stealthy pocket on the back has quick-grab access to your phone so you never miss a photo-op with your #1 trail buddy.
Overcoat™ Jacket [New Colors]
The Overcoat is the classic cold-weather utility jacket, built with sturdy, burly materials to keep up with even the most active dog diving through brush and brambles. The wind- and water-resistant outer fabric sheds light moisture, while the interior recycled polyester fleece lining adds cozy warmth. Side-release buckles on both sides provide easy on/off, and a leash portal allows the Overcoat to be worn over all Ruffwear harnesses (and most other harnesses).
What's new for Fall 2020? All new colors – Red Clay and Slate Blue.
Cloud Chaser™ Jacket [New Design]
With the Cloud Chaser, dogs can forge ahead in the spectrum of inclement weather that winter serves up. The jacket’s upper panel is a breathable water- and windproof softshell that stands up to rain, snow, wind, and cold temps. The fleece-lined lower panel holds in core heat and sheds dirt and moisture.
Stretch technical fabrics with a zippered closure make for a warm, formfitting sleeved jacket that's made to move. With reflective trim and a light loop for The Beacon (sold separately), dogs get a boost in visibility so shorter days don't have to mean shorter excursions.
What's new for Fall 2020? Improved performance and durability on the stretch lower panel.
Polar Trex™ Boots [New Design]
The Polar Trex Boots provide warmth, traction, and protection so those paws can keep exploring in winter conditions.
Constructed with an insulated softshell upper for breathable, weatherproof warmth in extreme cold and inclement weather. The Ruffwear-designed Vibram® Icetrek™ outsole provides traction on frozen surfaces and is a barrier against cold and snow-melt chemicals. The hook-and-loop closure cinches at the narrowest part of the dog’s leg for a secure fit. Zip the stretch gaiter over the closure to protect the hook-and-loop from snow build-up.
What's new for Fall 2020? Now uses the same softshell material you can find on the Cloud Chaser™ Jacket for improved performance – and a sharp looking winter kit.
Stumptown™ Jacket [New Color]
The Stumptown Jacket is the epitome of the mountain-town jacket, blending insulated warmth, durability, and style. With a modern, quilted design, the Stumptown is at home in urban environments and holds its own on the trail with its abrasion-resistant exterior shell. Recycled polyester insulation provides cozy warmth on clear, cold days, and the leash portal on the back allows the Stumptown to be worn over most harnesses. From town to trail, the Stumptown combines classic style with leading-edge performance.
What's new for Fall 2020? A new color, Twilight Gray, joins the current color lineup.
Climate Changer™ Jacket [New Color]
The Climate Changer Jacket is a classic technical fleece that performs as hard as it plays. Recycled polyester fleece with sleeves and a full-length zipper is quick-drying and provides coverage and warmth for dogs on morning missions and everyday pursuits in cold, clear conditions. Wear standalone or layered under other Ruffwear coats for additional warmth.
What's new for Fall 2020? A new pattern: Glacier!
Climate Changer™ Pullover [New Color]
Whether the trail ahead is covered in freshly fallen leaves or a fine layer of frost, the Climate Changer Pullover sweater is an instant favorite for dogs on cool-weather pursuits. Simplicity is at the core of this hardware-free, cozy fleece. The stretch lower panel captures warmth and sheds moisture, working in tandem with the open cap-sleeves to provide hard-to-fit dogs (broad shoulders, thick chests/necks) an alternative fit option with more coverage and full range of motion.
What's new for Fall 2020? Just like the Climate Changer Jacket, we've added a new pattern: Glacier.
