The Swamp Cooler™ Harness is trail-ready, all-in-one cooling solution for dogs exploring in hot conditions, now with a third leash attachment point on the chest. Integrated directly into our three-strap harness platform, it leverages our Swamp Cooler™ technology to pull body surface heat away through evaporative cooling. Dial in a secure and comfortable fit with six adjustment points, lift and assist with the quick-grab handle, and stay connected with three leash connection points as you head out together on your next summer endeavor.

Three-Layer Construction

Wicking outer layer: reflects heat, facilitates evaporation to disperse heat, and offers UPF 50+. Absorbent middle layer: stores water for evaporation. Mesh lining: keeps dog dry and comfortable.

Padded Handle

Balanced and comfortable lifting with padded handle and load-dispersing chest/belly panel

Three Leash Attachment Points

Aluminum V-ring, reinforced webbing loop on the back, and reinforced webbing loop on the chest for redirecting dogs that pull on leash

    Much Ruffwear, many harnesses. This one’s my favorite.

    The fit and comfort of these harnesses are significantly better than the than the old Webmaster, which I used for over 15 years. I’ve never known an RW harnesse to wear out, and this is not exception. Also makes picking up the little ones so much easier. Handles are important! I’ll never be without an RW harnesses.

    Exceeded expectations!

    The Medium was a great fit for our Golden who is 32". If you're on the fence, I'd suggest the smaller size - it can probably fit up to a 34-35".

    The cooling feature is amazing on these hot summer days we have been having, and doesn't make his fur as damp as I would've thought. This has become a must-have for all our hot day walks!

    Keeps our baby cool

    I live in Georgia and we are having a very hot summer. I noticed my dog cutting her walks short and when we got home would just flop on the tile floor. I decided to try the cooling harness and it is a game changer! We have been using it for over a week now and she is back to her usual self on her walks and doesn't need to lie on the cool tile floor for a while when she gets back. It does seem a bit smaller than her other ruffwear harness so be sure to check the sizing. Definitely get his for your dogs in warmer climages!

    Cool in Sacramento CA

    This is perfect for my 5 yr old yellow lab in the Sacramento heat of 100 plus weather. I purchased the Confluence life jacket for my baby who just had her front left leg amputated due to bone cancer. And she loves that!

    I tried the Swamp Cooler today and it was a hit!

    I would recommend any product from Chewy.
