I wanted to like this so much. But we dont.
The Good: folds up like a travel chair, so easy to transport, carry bag is has enough space to make it easy to put thr cot back in it, cot is easy to assemble.
The Bad:
1. The cot sags with the dog on it.. maybe some dogs like this, my dog does not. He loves every other cot he has had (all of those have a tight, flat surface). He absolutely will not lay on the ruffwear cot. I've never seen him hate a cot or bed like this product.
2. The material the dog lays on it just a poor design for the use case. It's this soft stretchy fake suede like thing. If it's hot out, it won't breathe, if its cold out I would be putting a comfy warm bed on top of a cot anyway. The worst part is if my dog is wet, the cot material gets wet and stays wet forever. Its kind of a gross slimey texture too. The suede like material is not easy to clean or wipe off, it collects bits of dirt and debris.
Really wish this cot was more like my human cot - with a tightly woven mesh, that stretched into a tight flat platform that would be comfortable, cool, dry fast, be easy to clean and wipe off.
If Ruffwear ever makes a replacement cover that fixes these things, I would give this product 5 stars. But for us, it is an expensive waste that we will not use. Probably the only ruffwear product I and my dog truly dislike.
